Fairway Irrigation Design is committed to staying on the leading edge of technology as it can be applied to irrigation system design. This commitment is evident through our move into Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and through our use of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology.  A complete electronic file of your irrigation system can be generated for your project.  Through the use of our own GPS equipment we are able to offer faster, more accurate drawings for construction and permanent records.

In addition we are using new improved digital orthophoto technology to enhance record drawing accuracy and provide many additional services to our clients including; high resolution course photos, Graphical Information System (GIS) technologies for calculations of seed requirements, chemical application rates and a myriad of information to support turf grass professionals.

Field Staking & Layout

 An initial design on paper only creates the general concept and framework of how the irrigation system will work.  The field staking and layout on the actual project site are critical to the success of a project.  Qualified persons are needed to make the system design framework operate in the field.  No amount of planning on paper can anticipate every contour and obstacle on a golf course.  This is why we insist on personally staking our projects.  We will locate your system equipment in the field. By doing this we can react, adjust and account for any particular situation that may be presented. GPS technology allows us the ability to produce very accurate drawings of the layout for construction in a very timely manner.
